If you previously installed the Common logging technical preview to use with your release 2.1 console, you must manually uninstall it before deploying the release 2.1.1 console to a computer.
The Log Analyzer cannot successfully retrieve the log file for DB2 UDB Express on iSeries(TM) computers.
You may see a message indicating that an authentication error occurred for a DB2 UDB Express database when you attempt to start it. This can occur even after an apparently successful task to add the database to the console. This occurs because the actual authentication verification cannot be done at the time the database is configured into the console; it is only done when the console attempts to use DB2 UDB Express to start the database.
There are various column headings, and all of the detail portlet content, that are derived dynamically, and are not translated.
To avoid unacceptably long response time, only the most recent 500 entries of the DB2 log file are displayed.
You might have to reboot the server in order to use the Express Runtime console to administer IBM DB2 UDB Express. When administering remotely, Windows(R) server operating systems do not pick up the environment variables correctly until you reboot, which means you cannot perform many of the database tasks.
If you cannot complete database tasks, reboot the server IBM DB2 UDB Express is installed on, and try again.
If you install the IBM HTTP Server on a system that already has it installed, only the last one installed is manageable by the Express Runtime console. If you want to manage more than one installation of IBM HTTP Server on the same system, you can do so by defining a service for the additional copies of IBM HTTP Server.
Refer to the IBM HTTP Server documentation for guidance.
When a WebSphere(R) Application Server - Express profile is created after the console agent has started for a system, the new WebSphere Application Server - Express profile will not be recognized until the console agent is stopped and restarted. Refer to the console InfoCenter for instructions on restarting the console agent.

In the reference section on troubleshooting Informix Dynamic Server Express databases, the list of tokens required is correct, but you can more easily establish the authorization by selecting the following properties:

Eclipse 3.0.1 and Rational Web Developer 6.0 requires the SWT plug-in version 3.1.0.4 in order to support Mozilla 1.7. This plug-in is packaged as 3.0.2 for eclipse 3.0.x-based products. Eclipse 3.0.1 does not support all Linux browsers by default. Complete the following steps:

You might find that the help for the optional console modules (for example, IBM HTTP Server) is shown in the help navigation frame as a top-level entry in the table of contents, instead of within the console InfoCenter. The help will still work, and the links between help pages and the InfoCenter will still function correctly. However, to locate other help topics for the console module, you will have to open up its table of contents entry in the navigation frame.
