Workaround: On the SVC graphical user interface (GUI), issue a 'Stop Copy Process' command on the consistency group and specify 'Enable write access to the secondary VDisks'. On the SVC command-line interface (CLI), issue the 'svctask stopconsistgrp -access [consistgrpid | consistegrpname]' command. Either of these commands allow the application to switch to the secondary site and a recovery action to take place. Known issue: If you attempt to terminate a Flash Copy session containing SVC volumes, a 97B0 error might occur if the session is in the Target Available state. Workaround: Use the SVC GUI to terminate the relationships. Known issue: On some ICAT platforms, a connecting device might stay in the connecting state instead of going to the disconnected state after a long period of time. Workaround: Remove the device from TotalStorage Productivity Center for Replication, resolve the connection issue, and attempt to add the device again. However, there are some risks to these steps. Note that by removing the device, you lose all copy sets in sessions that involve volumes on the device. You can mitigate this loss by exporting the session's copy set configuration to a CSV file by using the exportcsv command. (Refer to the Command-line Interface User's Guide for details on this command.) After you re-add the device, you can then import the CSV file (using the importcsv command), and thus recreate the session. Known issue: The configuration file, TPCRCLI-AUTH.PROPERTIES, is read only. The TPCRCLI-AUTH.PROPERTIES file allows you to enter authorization information so you can sign into the command-line interface automatically without entering your user name and password. Workaround: To edit the file, change the file's permissions using the operating system. Known issue: Volsers (volume serial numbers) might not update correctly immediately after refreshing the configuration. Workaround: The volser eventually updates correctly. Known issue: On System z, stopping TCIP/IP disrupts the operation of TotalStorage Productivity Center for Replication. Workaround: Restart TotalStorage Productivity Center for Replication for it to work properly. Known issue: HTTP requests to a Websphere Application Server on System z intermittently fail with status codes of 500 and 504 when the server is under high load. When the load lessens the errors cease. This occurs on Websphere Application Server 6.1.0.6 and earlier versions. Workaround: This problem has been fixed in Service Level 6.1.0.7 5.0 Additional information 5.1 Contacting customer support For support for this product, you can contact IBM customer support in one of the following ways: * Go to the technical support Website: http://www-304.ibm.com/jct01004c/systems/support/supportsite.wss/supportresources? brandind=5000033&familyind=5329733&taskind=1 * Customers in the United States can also call 1-800-IBM-SERV (1-800-426-7378). * International customers should consult the Website for customer support telephone numbers.
