Description

The Tivoli Storage Manager application programming interface (API) enables an application client to use storage management functions. The API includes function calls that you can use in an application to perform the following operations:

The API can be used by either developers writing new applications, which send data to a Tivoli Storage Manager server, or by users of these applications.

You can consult the application documentation for specific usage information about the Tivoli Storage Manager API modules and configuration.
