******************************************************************************* The IBM 2105 set queue depth (version 2.7.0.00)can only be installed and run on HP-UX Operating System Release 10.01 or later. ------------------------- Installation Instructions ------------------------- NOTE: Hard disk minimum available space for installation: 1 Mbytes. As "superuser," follow the steps below to install the IBM 2105 queue depth setting from the CD. 1. Insert the CD into your CD-ROM drive and "mount" the drive as a file system. For example: /usr/sbin/mount /dev/dsk/c0t2d0 /cdrom where /cdrom is your CD-ROM mount directory. 2. Run the "2105inst" script to set the queue depth of IBM 2105 subsystem. For example: /cdrom/hp2105/2105inst /cdrom where /cdrom is your CD-ROM mount directory. notes: the '2105inst' script will invoke 'swinstall -s /var/spool/sw/ibm2105' 3. In the Software Selection Window, highlight to select the "IBM2105" product, then choose the "Mark for Install" item from the Actions Menu. The "Marked?" column will be automatically be set to "Yes". 4. Select the "Install (analysis...)" item from the Actions Menu. When the analysis is finished with no error, i.e. Status:Ready, click OK. 5. Click Yes in the Confirmation window to begin the actual installation. 6. When the installation is completed, a dialog is displayed to notify you the install task is completed and the system will be rebooted. Click OK to continue
