The zip and tar.z archives must be extracted on your system; AIX: --------------- a) Create a working Directory, and copy DS Agent distribution archive into the working directory b) From the working directory Uncompress the DS Agent distribution archive > uncompress c) From the working directory Extract the DS Agent distribution archive > tar -vxpf LINUX: --------------- Working with compressed tar files: a) Create a working Directory, and copy DS Agent distribution archive into the working directory b) From the working directory Uncompress/Extract the DS Agent distribution archive > tar -xzvf or > unzip Windows: --------------- a) Create a working Directory, and copy DS Agent distribution archive into the working directory b) From the working directory use the windows native Archive Extraction Wizard, and follow the winzipdirections from the wizard. 3.
