Utilities
The Utilities section of the Universal Test Client allows you to load classes, working with complex classes and arrays, convert Collection objects into Object arrays, convert Object arrays into List objects, set array elements, set class paths, or send or post JMS messages.
- Load Class
In the Universal Test Client, the Load Class page is used to load a class into the Universal Test Client. - Cast Class
In the Universal Test Client, the Cast Class page is used to convert instances of a source data type into instances of a different target data type. - Create array
In the Universal Test Client, the Create Array page is used to create an array in the Universal Test Client. - Collection -> Object[]
In the Universal Test Client, the Collection -> Object[] page is used to convert an instance of a Collection object into an instance of an array of Object objects. - Object[] -> List
In the Universal Test Client, the Object[] -> List page of the Universal Test Client is used to convert an instance of an array of Object objects into an instance of List list. - Set array element
In the Universal Test Client, the Set array element page is used to set the object in an element of an array. - Set Classpath
The Set Classpath page is used to specify the classpath for the Universal Test Client to load external classes that may not be installed onto the server, such that you can use theses classes in the Universal Test Client. - Send JMS Message
In the Universal Test Client, the Send JMS Message page is used to send Java™ Message Service (JMS) messages to a message queue. A message queue, used in a Point-to-Point messaging system, receives messages from many senders and puts them in a queue to a receiver. In order to send JMS messages, the server must already have a JMS queue set up. - Post JMS Message
In the Universal Test Client, the Post JMS Message page is used to post Java Message Service (JMS) messages using a topic. A topic, used in a Publish-Subscribe messaging system, receives messages from many senders and sends them to many receivers, which subscribe to the topic. In order to post JMS messages, the server must already have a JMS topic set up.
