Start @ITRAPPER;
Note: Postmortem debugging using the
@ITRAPPER; program is only available on OS/2.
Use the @ITRAPPER; utility to obtain a dump file when a program traps. If the program
has already trapped and was not started as a child process of the @ITRAPPER; utility, you
must restart the program under @ITRAPPER; and try to duplicate the trap.
@ITRAPPER; is started with a simple command line interface:
[d:][path]@ITRAPPER; [/p parameter_file
program_name [program_parameters]]
where:
- [d:][path]
- Is the path to the location of the @ITRAPPER;.EXE file, if this location is not in the
user's PATH environment variable
- /p
- is an optional parameter indicating that a trapper parameter file has been specified.
(@ITRAPPER; also accepts /P, -p, or -P for this parameter.) The name of the parameter file
follows.
- program_name
- is the program to be run under @ITRAPPER;
- program_parameters
- are the normal parameters for the program to be run under @ITRAPPER;.
