Upgrading the Sequelink driver from Version 5.2 to Version 5.3

When upgrading the Sequelink driver from Version 5.2 to Version 5.3, you need to upgrade the client and server component.

When you upgrade the client component the old Java archive (JAR) files are updated with the new JAR files.

When you upgrade the server component, the Version 5.3 server component is installed on top of the Version 5.2 server component.

Version 5.2 comes with the WebSphere Application Server Standard installer. Run the installation executable file and follow the graphical user interface (GUI) screens.

Make sure to delete all the datasources first. Then delete the JDBC providers and remove the sljc.jar and sljcx.jar files from the AppServer\lib directory. Copy the new sljc.jar and spy-sl53.jar files and re-create the JDBC providers and datasources.
