Preparing an OS/390 host environment for OLT and the IBM Distributed Debugger (CB)

Before tracing and debugging your OS/390 server application, you must configure the WebSphere Application Server environment to enable tracing and debugging. This section describes how you can prepare the OS/390 host environment for Component Broker applications, WebSphere Application Server applications, or both, when you have the Enterprise Edition of the WebSphere Application Server installed.

Use OS/390 Component Broker administration tools to update the server properties, as follows:

  2. Scroll down the right pane to set the JVM_DEBUG_PORT environment variable to the jdwpPort value.
