6.6.18.0: General security properties

Key:
Property name in the Java-based administrative console Applies to Java administrative console of Advanced Edition Version 4.0
Property name in the Web-based administrative console Applies to Web administrative console of Advanced Single Server Edition Version 4.0
Property name in the application client resource configuration tool Applies to Application Client Resource Configuration Tool

Cache Timeout  Property name in the Web-based administrative console or Security Cache Timeout  Property name in the Java-based administrative console
Time after which the authentication cache will be refreshed. Caching can improve performance with respect to authentication lookups.

Specify this value in seconds, with a minumum of 30.

Default SSL Configuration  Property name in the Java-based administrative console or Use global SSL default configuration  Property name in the Web-based administrative console
Apply the default SSL configuration to the entire administrative domain.

Enabled  Property name in the Web-based administrative console or Enable Security  Property name in the Java-based administrative console
Whether global security is enabled. When security is not enabled, all other security settings are not validated or used.
Security Cache Timeout  Property name in the Java-based administrative console

Use Domain Qualified User Names  Property name in the Web-based administrative console  Property name in the Java-based administrative console
When the value of this setting is true, user names returned by calls such as getUserPrincipal() will be qualified with the security domain in which they reside
