enum result { ok, partial, error, noconv }
Useful constants indicating different codeset conversion results. ok - The conversion was completed successfully. partial - Not all source characters converted successfully. This can happen as the target buffer provides insufficient storage. error - Encountered a character couldn't be converted. noconv - No conversion was required.
