Enhancements

The IBM WebSphere Business Integration Express for Item Synchronization 4.3.1.3 Fix Pack has been enhanced to include the following:

Compliance with UCCnet Services V2.3 (including Pricing and Price Bracket)

Compliance with UCCnet Services V2.3.1 (office supplies extension)

Support for UCCnet Services commands:

Initial Item Load (XSD)

Correction (XSD)

CIP Withdrawal (XSD)

Triggering Business Object that now supports WWRE and Transora, in addition to UCCnet Services-specific extensions

Improved logging function

Support for dynamically specifying data recipients for publications

Validation errors returned to user

Update to licensing to allow 5 adapters, including the eMail adapter

Installation Instructions

Before installing this Fix Pack, backup all affected business objects and maps. It is also necessary to remove several items from your current configuration before installing the Fix Pack.  Please follow the instructions below to remove these items and then proceed to the detailed instructions for ‘Installing and configuring the Fix Pack’:

  1. If necessary, restart the target ICS server in design mode. (The ICS server must be running in design mode in order to delete the maps)
  2. Stop and delete all the maps running in the target ICS server
  3. Stop and delete all the collaboration objects in the target ICS server
  4. Stop all the connectors in the target ICS server
  5. Follow the detailed instructions in the ‘Installing and configuring the Fix Pack’ guide included with this fixpack.

 

Uninstall Instructions

To uninstall this Fix Pack, follow these steps:

 

  1. Issue a repos_copy –d to the target ICS server.
  2. Restart the server
  3. If desired, delete the ICL from the System Manager containing the fix pack components.
  4. Deploy the backup System Manager ICL containing the previous, full version of the Item Synchronization product to the target ICS server
