Connector fixes needed to work against PeopleTools 8.42

Fixes done to support PeopleTools 8.42. BigDecimal support provided. For the BigDecimal support to work, at the (simple) attribute level, the application specific text should have the following added

                     :bigDec=true

As part of the PeopleSoftODA, the BO Level App-Spec Info has the following additions

:SetEditHistoryItems=true:GetDummyRows=true

 

If either of these do not need to be set for a particular BO Definition, then the value needs to be set to false for the same

BigDecimal Fix for key values

Fix provided. Key attribute values are checked for BigDecimal type now.  The Application Specific Text for the key attribute should have the following added for the check to be performed

                      :bigDec=true

 

UPGRADE INSTRUCTIONS

To perform an upgrade to this version of the connector:

  1. Upgrade to the most recent maintenance (2.1.0) release if you have not already done so.
  2. Download the patch.
  3. Apply the changes prescribed in each table below, beginning with the entries at the bottom of each table and working up to the most recent patch.

DOWNLOADING THE PATCH

This section describes how to download the connector patch from the CrossWorlds Exchange website.

Note: Downloading software from the website requires a user name and password. Contact your CrossWorlds system administrator or a technical support contact for your site. To extract and install the connector files, you must have already installed CrossWorlds InterChange Server or Serverless Trading Agent.

To download the connector software from the Web:

  1. Back up any files that contain customized settings, for example, customized startup settings.
  2. Log in to CrossWorlds Exchange. Navigate to the Connectivity page (Support > Product Patches > Connector Patches), then expand the  appropriate ICS platform by clicking the plus sign (+) next to it.
  3. Click on the plus sign (+) next to your connector version.
  4. Find the zip file for your runtime platform, and download it.
