This chapter describes how you can use the TPFDF utility commands for
database maintenance and support. This chapter includes:
- Commands used during installation to:
- Initialize files
- Initialize and set up a help utility.
- Commands used for database and system maintenance to:
- Restrict command use
- Display file information, data, and the contents of the database
definition (DBDEF) tables
- Display a log of modifications made with the ZUDFM command entries
- Load the macro label set (MLS) tape and display the loading information
- Add, delete, or replace logical records (LRECs)
- Copy or pack a subfile
- Convert a time-of-day (TOD) clock value.
