Use this command to rebuild TPF MQSeries definitions in the current file
address reference format (FARF) on the TPF system without losing those
definitions and without losing any messages that are currently on
queue.
- Note:
- To migrate a TPF MQSeries data store (for example, MQSCBSS), enter the ZOODB
MIGRATE command before or after you enter the ZMQSC DBREBUILD command.
Requirements and Restrictions
- Ensure that only one processor is active in a loosely coupled
environment.
- Ensure that the TPF MQSeries queue manager is stopped on the subsystem
from which you enter this command. See ZMQSC STOP-Stop a TPF MQSeries Channel or Queue Manager for more information
.
- Enter this command on each subsystem where a TPF MQSeries queue manager
has been defined.
- Do not start a TPF MQSeries queue manager on a subsystem from which this
command is running. See ZMQSC START-Start a TPF MQSeries Channel or Queue Manager for more information.
- Do not activate a processor in a loosely coupled environment while this
command is running.
- You can enter this command only in NORM state.
Format
- FORCE
- rebuilds TPF MQSeries definitions, but removes any nonessential TPF
MQSeries definitions (such as, TPF MQSeries trace settings) that TPF could not
build because errors occurred.
