Within the information center you can control
the following aspects of the presentation of the information:
-
The way in which the syntax of commands and macros is displayed. Syntax diagrams in the information center can be displayed in your choice of accessible formats, or as railroad diagrams. The accessible formats are BNF and Dotted decimal format. For descriptions of these formats, read the Help topic
Syntax diagrams. To change the format of syntax diagrams throughout the information center, go to Preferences in the Home navigation panel, select 'Syntax diagrams', and select your preferred format.
-
Whether images are displayed as such, or as text. All images in the information center that convey information additional to that which is already mentioned in the text, have alternate text. The standard alternate text cannot include markup (for example, to present items as lists), so where the alternate text is complex, a formatted version may be supplied. You can choose to display text instead of images, including formatted alternate text where available, throughout the information center. To do this, go to Preferences in the Home navigation panel, select Images, and select 'Display the text description of an image'.
