The masthead at the top of the screen contains three bars: the title bar, the tab bar, and the search bar.
The title bar is dark blue. On the left it contains the IBM logo, and on the right it contains the title of the information center. There are no hypertext links in the title bar.
The tab bar is the black bar below the title bar. On the left of the tab bar there is a tab that takes you to the home navigation panel. The remaining tabs on the left of the tab bar take you to navigation panels for the classes into which the information in the center has been divided. Initially these classes are Tasks , Concepts , and Reference , but by customizing the information center you can remove these tabs or add your own. See Customization for more information.
At the right-hand end of the tab bar there are tabs for Searches , Bookmarks , and Help .
The search bar contains a field in which a search argument can be entered, a drop-down list to select the index that is to be searched, and a Go button that is pressed to start the search.
