Keyboard shortcuts

Access keys to perform functions are available in the information center, in addition to the keyboard shortcuts supplied by your browser and screen reader. To use the access keys, ensure that your browser's focus is in the correct frame. Press the access key combination for the function you require. The access keys that are available in the masthead and footer bar only select the function, and you then need to press the return key to activate the function. The access keys that are available in the Search Results, Advanced Search and selection dialog pages activate the function straight away.

Note that if your screen reader supports Microsoft Active Accessibility (MSAA), you may need to exit from MSAA mode to use the access keys.
