This patch requires that the baseline server (on which this patch is being applied)
be at Prospect 8.0 / Nortel MTX15 RP16 install (15.0.16.0.0.3)

SEAde69692 - RNCpm:Data Availability Tool does not show data as loaded after Oracle 10g upgrade
APAR IZ22270 - Newly added tables in RP16 need retention settings


E: Known Problems
-----------------
Oracle parameter RECYCLEBIN should be set to off in the initflexpm.ora file after 10g upgrade.
The following ORA- errors could be seen in the Oracle alert log/trace files if this parameter is left on.

ctciclean(): drop IOT TRNS "FLEXPM"."SYS_IOT_TRNS_60842" unexpected error
ORA-28674: cannot reference transient index-organized table

G: Pre-install Information
--------------------------
Login as flexpm user

1. Sentry need to be down during installation of this HotFix
   [flexpm] $ ps-mgr sn stop

2. Go to $FLEXPM_HOME directory:
   [flexpm] $ cd $FLEXPM_HOME

3. Copy file 15.0.16.0.TIV-PROSPECT-NORCDM-IF001.tar  into $FLEXPM_HOME directory

4. Untar the file. It will create the directory patches/15.0.16.0.1
   [flexpm] $ tar xvf 15.0.16.0.TIV-PROSPECT-NORCDM-IF001.tar

5. Install the patch by following the instructions in Section 'H'(Install) below.


H: Instructions to install the patch
------------------------------------

1. Login as flexpm, if not already done so.

2. Go to $FLEXPM_HOME/patches/15.0.16.0.1 directory:
   [flexpm] $ cd $FLEXPM_HOME/patches/15.0.16.0.1

3. Install the patch:
   [flexpm] $ ./install.sh -install 2>&1 | tee install.log.$$

4. Check the log file for any errors.


I: Post-Installation Instructions
---------------------------------
1. Run the past_part_maint.sh to set the past_part for the DXC and DXS tables. 

   This is a two-step process:
   a) run past_part_maint.sh to find what the setting for "sSUMDaily" is:
   [flexpm] $ past_part_maint.sh

   b) Set the traffic past_part from what was found in step (a)
   [flexpm] $ past_part_maint.sh sSUMDaily <value from a)>

2. Run pm_daily to build out the partitions. There are two options on how this can be done.

   Option 1) Let the regularly scheduled pm_daily run to build the partitions. 
   (Recommended because this step could take a while)
   
   Option 2) Schedule pm_daily immediately by running: 
   [flexpm] $ schedule_maint pm_daily I
