Version 9, Release 1 of IBM® InfoSphere® Optim™ provides many enhancements. Install the latest feature pack to obtain access to all enhancements.

Installation and configuration

  • Consolidated launch pad to install the components for InfoSphere Optim clients, servers, and web services
  • Easier installation and configuration of Optim server with integrated HTTP connectivity to other InfoSphere Optim components
  • New IBM InfoSphere Optim Connection Manager web service component to manage connections between InfoSphere Optim components and Optim directories

  • Better integration between Optim directories, InfoSphere Optim Designer and InfoSphere Optim Manager

  • Delete by ROWID on Oracle data sources
  • Multi-column search in lookup functions
  • Extended support for Teradata, including support for:
    • Teradata Binary Loader format
    • TPT for child tables
    • The SAMPLE clause on extract
  • Native processing support for Netezza®, including tier migration
  • Toleration support for additional relational database systems

  • Auditing of additional events, including open data manager access to archive files
