You can generate a .zip file that contains data for analyzing
installation problems. IBM® Software
Support can use this file to help troubleshoot issues that you encounter
with IBM Installation Manager.
About this task
This task is for exporting problem analysis data when you
encounter difficulties performing installations using the
Installation
Manager wizard.

silent installations.
Procedure
To export installation data for problem analysis:
- In Installation
Manager,
go to .
- In the Export Installation Data window, click Browse to
select a directory location for the .zip file.
- Enter a name for the .zip file.
- Click OK.
Results
A .zip file that contains the installation data is created.
