Description

Rational Robot is an automated testing tool for functional and regression testing of .NET, Java , Web, and other GUI-based applications. It includes a powerful test editor, easy-to-learn test script language and an extensive function library.
  • This release of IBM Rational Robot, version 7.0.2 includes the new feature of providing support for testing applications on Microsoft® Windows® Vista SP1. The supported editions are Vista Business, Ultimate and Enterprise.
  • Install IBM Rational Robot using the Installation Manager graphical user interface (GUI).
    Note: Installation Manager provides a quick and easy method to install, modify, update, and uninstall packages.
  • This release includes defect fixes to the previous versions of IBM Rational Robot.

Fixes contained in this release

This release contains fix for the following defect:
APAR # Description
PK67798 Image verification point comparator has differences under mask.
PK72090 Script command failure against PB9 and PB10.5 AUT using Robot Version 7.0.1.2
PK72278 Unable to launch Rational Robot on Vista.
PK43183 Robot poorly recognizes .Net PropertyGrid control.
