Description

This release of IBM Rational TestManager Version 7.0.1 IFIX01 includes:
  • Windows® Vista support (Vista Ultimate, Vista Enterprise and Vista Business).
  • IBM DB2 v 9.1 (32 bit editions) FP 3 version support on Vista.

This release includes fixes to the previous versions of Rational TestManager.

Installing Rational TestManager, Version 7.0.1 IFIX01

To install the Rational TestManager 7.0.1 IFIX01, perform the following steps:
  1. Download the Rational TestManager 7.0.1-IFIX01 to your computer.
  2. Double-click on 7.0.1.0-RATL-TSTMGR-WIN-en-US-IFIX01.msp.
  3. Start the install program and follow the on-screen instructions to install TestManager.

Fixes contained in this release

This release contains fixes for the following defects:
APAR # Description
PK49291 Deleting computer name in a computer group results in script failure during playback.
PK28692 Support for encoded passwords for NTLM in the RTAuthentication datapool.
PK30733 The rtsvui.exe virtual tester process stops if empty content-encoding is provided by server during HTTP playback.
PK31080 Access violation during API recording when application invokes cmd.exe.
PK48819 The test log name can not be customized when running test suites from command line.
PK38560 Distributed functional tests slow down when many verification points have to be executed.
PK48589 Data loss after moving test case folders.
PK43369 TestManager Test Agent fails to run RFT scripts through Test ManagerInstall TestAgent.
PK48011 Fail to run a command line for a test case in the test plan.
PK53538 DB2 database password is visible in db2cli.ini file.
PK54088 Promoting test case results causes crash.
