This patch can be installed on IBM WebSphere Everyplace Subscription Manager 5.0 2.0 WHAT IS NEW IN THIS INTERIM FIX The following program enhancements are issued in this update: o APAR IY57501: Enables product to participate in strategic IBM installations accompanied by IBM Tivoli License Manager (ITLM) 2.1. The ITLM deployed agent will recognize this product as installed and subsequently monitor its usage. 3.0 INSTALLATION 3.1 Prerequisites o You must have administrator access to update the IBM WebSphere Everyplace Manager Subscription software. o It is assumed the IBM WebSphere Everyplace Manager software is already installed. 3.2 Installation Procedure This fix is delivered as IY57501.zip. Inside this file are 3 files: CC001260E050000.sys, CC001260X050000.sys, and CC001260S050000.sys that are the ITLM signature files for this product. 1. Extract IY57501.zip to temporary directory. 2. Unzip the IY57501.zip. 3. For the AIX platform: move, copy, or FTP the CC001260X050000.sys file into the /usr/TivTSM/classes directory on each machine running any component of WebSphere Everyplace Subscription Manager. Components are identified as the Database, WAS applications, e.g. Customer Care, Self Care, etc., Radius, Provisioning Server and Clients. The ISM Console is exempt from this list of components. 4. For the Solaris platform: move, copy, or FTP the CC001260S050000.sys file into the /opt/TivTSM/classes directory on each machine running any component of WebSphere Everyplace Subscription Manager. Components are identified as the Database, WAS applications, e.g. Customer Care, Self Care, etc., Radius, Provisioning Server and Clients. The ISM Console is exempt from this list of components. 5. For each WAS application (HSMCustcare, HSMEnroll, HSMSelfcare, HSMConsole, HSMAuth): move, copy, or FTP the CC001260E050000.sys file into the respective WAS installedApps subdirectory. For example, for HSMCustcare on AIX, use the following subdirectory: /usr/WebSphere/AppServer/installedApps/{hostname}/HSMCustcare.ear/HSMCustcare.war/WEB-INF/classes/ For example, for SelfCare on Solaris, use the following subdirectory: /opt/WebSphere/AppServer/installedApps/{hostname}/HSMSelfcare.ear/HSMSelfcare.war/WEB-INF/classes/ 6. No application restart or system reboot is necessary. 4.0 UNINSTALLATION 1.
