IBM 2010 Information Governance Survey Findings
Information governance is a holistic approach to managing and leveraging information for business benefit. It encompasses every aspect of an organization's data and information, including information quality, information protection and information life cycle management. It is also a series of steps in a process from setting goals, defining metrics, setting policies, communicating what is happening, measuring outcomes and auditing of that process that requires a commitment from the organization. Based on a recently completed market survey, this webcast examines adoption patterns, prioritization of investment dollars and barriers to usage for information governance.
