IBM MedSpeak/Radiology Version 1.4.2 ReadMe

This file contains important notes for all users of IBM MedSpeak 
Radiology.  It is suggested that you thoroughly review the contents
of this readme before installing the PTF.

All files are to be installed on remote "Client" workstations.  If
M/R "Client" is installed on a M/R "Server", then the files will need
to be installed on the M/R "Server" as well.

You must be at version 1.4.0 of MedSpeak/Radiology to install this PTF file.
If you are at version 1.4.0, you do not have to install the version 1.4.1 PTF
prior to installing version the 1.4.2 PTF.  The 1.4.2 PTF is inclusive and will 
have all of the fixes that were in version 1.4.1.

Fixes:

The fixes included in this PTF are:

1. Accuracy improvements in "learning"; i.e. improved learning for words that
	were difficult to recognize.

2. Additional debug logging to assist in resolving spchapp.exe errors.

3. Enrollment training fix for sites with updated *.dll files for Windows NT

Installation

The IBM MedSpeak/Radiology version 1.4.2 PTF contains the following four files:

-> Spchapp.exe
-> Engine.exe
-> Sa054.vid
-> Exprots.exe

To upgrade a M/R "Client" Workstation, please follow the instructions listed below:

-> Go into Windows NT "Explorer" and create a directory under the \MedSpeak 
	directory and call it MR142PTF.

-> Place the "Self-Extracting" zip file, MRv142.EXE into \MR142PTF.

-> Double-click on the file MRv142PTF.EXE to expand the file into the four
	files listed above.

-> While still in Windows NT "Explorer", rename the current files as follows:

-> Rename \MedSpeak\Radiology\Client\Bin\Spchapp.exe to
		\MedSpeak\Radiology\Client\Bin\Spchapp.bak.

-> Copy the new Spchapp.exe from the path \MR142PTF and place the file into the
		path \MedSpeak\Radiology\Client\Bin.

-> Rename \MedSpeak\Speech\Spch_ro\Bin\Engine.exe to
		\MedSpeak\Speech\Spch_ro\Bin\Engine.bak

-> Copy the new Engine.exe from the path \MR142PTF and place the file into the
		path \MedSpeak\Speech\Spch_ro\Bin.

-> Rename \MedSpeak\Speech\Spch_ro\Bin\Exprots.exe to
		\MedSpeak\Speech\Spch_ro\Bin\Exprots.bak.

-> Copy the new Exprots.exe from the path \MR142PTF and place the file into the
		path \MedSpeak\Speech\Spch_ro\Bin.

-> Rename \MedSpeak\Speech\Spch_ro\Langs\EN_US\Tasks\RADCUS5\SA054.VID to
		\MedSpeak\Speech\Spch_ro\Langs\EN_US\Tasks\RADCUS5\SA054VID.BAK

-> Copy the new SA054.VID from the path \MR142PTF and place the file into the
		path \MedSpeak\Speech\Spch_ro\Langs\EN_US\Tasks\RADCUS5.
