Right click anywhere in the "Fault Analyzer Objects" view to get the context menu above. It is common to retrieve the list of "Last accessed history files" that was previously viewed using the green screen ISPF interface. Adding a single history file is also possible.
When using CICS Explorer for the first time, there might not be any connections defined to the PD Tools Common Component server. The Fault Analyzer plug-in will bring up the dialog to create a new connection definition to the server.
Once a connection is defined, or if there were existing connections, a list of systems is presented to get history files from.
If not logged in, a logon screen will open.
The workspace will be filled with the list of last accessed history files.
Right click on a history file and select "Open", or double click on a history file. The "Reports List" view will be filled with fault entries.
Right clicking on the "Reports List" view will show the context menu. The column and filtering menu options will be explained in the "Using views" chapter. The "Refresh history file/view" refreshes the list of reports.
