Compiler options page

File Manager® compiler options can be specified per system. To specify compiler options, open the Compiler Options preference page, choose the system, and click on the edit button to the right. For more information about compiler options, please refer to the File Manager® User Guide. For these options to take an effect, you will need to disconnect all the active connections.

The options specified will be used to overwrite the default compiler options of the host product configurations. You can revert back to the default compiler options by choosing the system and clicking the Remove button.

CCSID Mapping

You can specify a Coded Character Set Identifier (CCSID) per text field in File Manager® templates to specify how text data are represented in the field. This value is used when displaying the text data in the File Manager® editor. This preference page allows you to map from a CCSID to a corresponding Java encoding. The mapped Java encoding is used to display the text data while using the File Manager editor. If no CCSID is specified for a field, or no mapped Java encoding is found for the specified CCSID, then the editor uses the default encoding specified in the editor's options dialogue.
