The History view displays previous edits to the resource definitions, configurations, and groups.
The History view displays the changes made to the highlighted resource definition, configuration, or groups. To display the history of configurations or groups in the History view, right-click a configuration or group and click Show History.
You can link to a selection using the icon. To preserve
the current history view when further resource definition selections
are made, click the icon again to unlink the view.
Restore: You can restore resource definitions, that have been changed, in the history view. Select an entry in the history view, right-click to display the menu and click Restore. The resource definition is restored to the values before the change that you have selected, as shown in the "Resource Type/Before" column.
If you Restore an entry that has been deleted the resource definition is re-created. If you Restore a create entry the resource definition values are restored to the values when the resource definition was first created.
The Restore option is not currently available for Rename, Add or Remove entries.
Set Date Range: You can set a date range that applies to the History view. Click Set date range and the Set Date Range window is displayed. You can select the date range either from the Earliest entry and to Latest entry, or you can set the dates using the calendars or the editable date and time fields shown in the following screen capture.
Select Filters: You can filter the results shown in the
History view, click the View Menu icon and select Select
Filter(s) in the view menu.
Hover over Select Filter(s) and the menu of filters is displayed. You can use one or more of the filters to define your History view.
When you select a type of filter, a search field is added to the History panel toolbar. You can select more than one filter.
You can also use the equal or not equal option for the filters on the History view toolbar using the Set operator toggle icon. In the following example, the Group filter is not equal and the User ID filter is equal.
You can also sort the columns if you click the column name.
The history view now also displays the Install and Newcopy actions.
