  2. Set your default job card information to be used in all the jobs you create.
  3. Click Change to enter the default job library.
  4. Select the check box if you want to open the editor before submitting jobs.
  5. Click OK to close the dialog box and save your changes.

For more information about the JCL to produce deployment analysis reports, see Deployment analysis of resource definitions in IBM® CICS Configuration Manager for z/OS® Users Guide.

About this task

You can access the deployment analysis functions directly from the Configurations view.

  1. Right click the configuration name and select Deployment Analysis.

  2. Click one of the templates to open the JCL editor with that template. You can also click Deployment Analysis Editor to open a dialog window where you can select more templates or jobs you saved previously.

  3. Select one of the templates or one of your previously saved jobs and click OK. The JCL editor opens so that you can make any necessary changes.

  4. The editor provides inline help to identify any errors in the JCL. You can also hover the mouse pointer over each of the error or warning icons to find the cause of the problem with that job card.
  5. Run the job to produce the report.
