This window shows the operational status of all the replicated tables defined
at this replication instance. The status can be one of several states:
- Active. For a replicated table to be active, all of the following must be true:
- All of the required QCapture & QApply programs must be running.
- All of the QSubscriptions must be in the active state at both the QCapture and QApply server.
- All of the receive queues must be active.
- Partially Active. At least one path for data replication is active (QCapture, QApply, and QSubs all active), but
not every path. This state is applicable to BiDi and Peer-to-Peer topologies where there are several different directions
for data replication.
- Loading. One or more of the QSubscriptions are loading.
- External Load. One of more of the QSubscriptions are loading via an external (user controlled) load.
- Inactive. Data replication is not occuring for this table. This can be for many reasons. For example, all of
the QSubscriptions can be Inactive, or no QCapture program is running, etc.
- Unknown. The dashboard has yet to determine the state of the table. This condition is usually seen when the
dashboard is starting and has not yet connected to the databases.
Actions on a table are available by selecting one or more tables and right clicking on them. The
following actions are available:
- Details. This shows the status of every component that makes up this replicated table.
- Messages. This is a integrated display of messages.
Details Action
The details display for a unidirectional Q Subscription.
The details display for a four node Peer-to-Peer Q Subscription.
The details window shows the status of all components that make up a replicated table. At the upper left
is the status of all the required QCapture and QApply programs. The center show the status of all
the QSubscriptions and receive queues.
One or more QSubscriptions can be started or stopped by selecting them and pushing the "Start QSub" or "Stop QSub"
button.
Messages Action
The messages is an integrated display of all the messages from the QCapture and QApply servers used by this table,
with the most recent messages first. The first column shows what program issued the message.
