Notices A.1 Trademarks 1.0 Installation Requirements This fix requires - IBM DB2 CommonStore for SAP V8.3.0 2.0 Files included This fix 8.3.0-DB2-CSSAP-IF0024.zip extracts to: - archcls.jar 3.0 Installation Instructions Perform the following steps to install this fix: 1. Unzip the file 8.3.0-DB2-CSSAP-IF0024.zip to a temporary directory. This fix includes an updated version of the Java library archcls.jar. Note: This file can be used on all supported operating systems. 2. Make a backup copy of this file from your current installation. 3. Copy the file to the bin subdirectory where the CommonStore executables reside and replace the existing file. 4.0 Description of Fix The fix addresses the following problem: In some cases files that should be archived via SAP HTTP ArchiveLink were archived as 0 byte files although the source file was not empty. The reason probably was that the temporary file created by the HTTP Task when reading the HTTP request was not closed before it was archived. HTTP Task changed behaviour in saving content to file that comes along with HTTP requests of method PUT. Additionally it contains extended trace information for the process of reading and saving the content from the HTTP request. Appendix.
