These options specify what conditions will be written to the audit
log. Once you upload these selections to the host, they will be put
into effect the next time CICS® BAC is started in the CICS region and the batch request utility runs.
- Log error conditions and failed requests. If
checked, CICS BAC will write log records for any error conditions
or failed requests to the audit log.
- Log successful resource state changes. If
checked, CICS BAC will write an entry in the audit log each
time there is a successful change in the status of a region's resources.
- Dynamically allocate the audit log. If this
box is checked and the audit log is not preallocated, you can specify
where the audit log will be allocated:
- allocate to SYSOUT
- allocate using an existing data set name (entered in the text
field) and the selected disposition: MOD, SHR, or OLD.
- Use options above if... If this box is checked, CICS BAC will use the above options to determine whether or not logging
should be performed by the batch request utility if the target CICS region is not available.
