Define CICS regions on System B to local CMAS

The final step in updating the definitions of the CMAS data repository on System B is to create definitions for the local regions.

diagram shows the data repository of the CMAS on System B being updated using
batchrep. The data repository now has three regions listed, and the CICSplex
extends across from System A to System B.
  1. Create an input file for EYUCMS2A on System B.
  2. Following the format outlined in Configure the CMAS on System A, use the statement CREATE CSYSDEF to create definitions for the regions on System B. Ensure that CONTEXT EYUPLX01 is specified at the beginning of the file.
As shown in the figure above, the data repository for the CMAS is updated with definitions for the local regions that are going to be managed by EYUCMS2A.
