Create a CMAS on System B that will control its own CICS regions.
In the learning path example, this is EYUCMS2A.
Figure 1. Create the CMAS on System B and configure it using batchrep
to link to the CMAS MP on System A
- Follow the steps outlined in Create a CICSPlex SM address space to
create the CMAS on System B.
- Run batchrep to link EYUCMS2A to the CMAS MP on System A.
- Create an input file in the data set you already created for
storing input files.
- Edit the input file to contain the following information.
CONTEXT EYUCMS2A;
CREATE CMTCMDEF TARGETNAME(EYUCMS1A)
TARGETAPPL(EYUCMS1A)
SYSID(EY1A)
PROTOCOL(MRO)
MODENAME( )
RECVPFX(<)
SENDPFX(>)
DESC(Example CMAS link definition)
SENDBUF(8000)
RECVBUF(8000)
SECATTACH(LOCAL)
SECNAME( )
;
The CREATE CMTCMDEF statement creates the link
from the CMAS on System B to the CMAS MP on System A. This is defined in the
data repository of the CMAS EYUCMS2A.
- Run batchrep to create a link from the CMAS MP on System A to the
CMAS on System B.
- Create an input file in the data set you already created for
storing input files.
- Edit the input file to contain the following information.
CONTEXT EYUCMS1A;
CREATE CMTCMDEF TARGETNAME(EYUCMS2A)
TARGETAPPL(EYUCMS2A)
SYSID(EY2A)
PROTOCOL(MRO)
MODENAME( )
RECVPFX(<)
SENDPFX(>)
DESC(Example CMAS link definition)
SENDBUF(8000)
RECVBUF(8000)
SECATTACH(LOCAL)
SECNAME( )
;
This input file creates the link from the CMAS MP to the CMAS
on System B and updates the definitions in the data repository of EYUCMS1A.
