Setting the date format (option 4)

When you select option 4 from the profile options panel, the SET DATE FORMAT panel, shown in Figure 42, is displayed. You use this panel to define the date format for all CICSPlex® SM panels, windows, and views.

Each valid date format is associated with a number. To change the format, enter the appropriate number in the Date field.

mm
is the 2-digit month
dd
is the 2-digit day of the month
yy
is the 2-digit year
mmm
is a 3-character abbreviation for the month name
yyyy
is the 4-digit year

For example, the 26th August 2000 can be displayed in these formats:

  1. 08/26/00
  2. 26/08/00
  3. 00/08/26
  4. 26AUG00
  5. 08/26/2000
  6. 26/08/2000
  7. 2000/08/26
  8. 26AUG2000
