The information center offers three ways to search the information:
Basic searching
allows you quickly and easily to find a keyword
in an area that you would like to search
(including the entire library).
The results are returned to you and allow you to link to any of the matches.
You can perform this type of simple search directly from the masthead.
Simply enter the string you are searching for in the input field,
select the area of the library that you want to search,
and select Go.
Advanced searching
allows you to enter more than one keyword to narrow your search results.
You can also set preferences for how many results are returned.
You can perform this type of search by selecting Searches
from the masthead and then selecting Start a new search
in the navigation on the left.
Direct lookup
allows for quick lookup of reference information.
To find an item enter the name, choose the
appropriate lookup category, and select Go.
Lookup categories are in the same drop-down box as the search
categories but contain the string "(lookup)"
following the name of the category.
