Explanation

An attempt was made to start the Gateway daemon in the background, but a valid configuration file could not be found at the specified location.

System action

The Gateway daemon does not start.

User response

Check that a valid file exists. Refer to the CICS® Transaction Gateway Information Center for details on the format and location of ctgd.conf.
