Summary HDB

Records in a Summary HDB represent a summarization (or average) of one or more events over time. For example, the performance characteristics of a Transaction ID over a 15 minute interval. Typically, many CMF Performance records create one Summary record. The Summary HDB is analogous to the CICS PA Performance Summary report (see psumm.htm#psumm).

The following figure shows an example of a Summary HDB:

Summary HDBs typically have a longer lifespan and are built up over time to provide historical reporting and trend analysis.
