Parameters

containerName
Type: System..::..String
The name of the new Container.
charData
Type: array<System..::..Byte>[]()[][]
A byte array to be placed in the Container.
ccsid
Type: System..::..Int32
The CCSID of the character data supplied.

Return Value

The newly created Container.

Remarks

The Container name must be between 1 and 16 characters in length and must consist of only the following types of character:

  • Uppercase characters (A-Z)
  • Lowercase characters (a-z)
  • Digits (0-9)
  • Special characters < > $ @ # / % & ? ! : | " = ' ; . - and _
