Ping frequency interval

The pingfrequency parameter specifies the frequency that ping messages are sent by the Gateway daemon to attached Java applications to check that the applications are still active.

pingfrequency=<number>
Description
Set the value in the range 0 - 65,536 to specify the interval period, in milliseconds, between pings. If a reply has not been received by the time the next ping message is due to be sent, the connection is disconnected. If work is still in progress on behalf of the connection, the Client application can remain connected, depending on the setting of the Drop working connections parameter. If the pingfrequency parameter is not set or is set to zero, ping messages are not sent.

This parameter is in the SSL protocol parameters subsection of the GATEWAY section of the configuration file.

Default value
If this parameter is not specified, the default value is 60000 milliseconds.
