Client daemon failed to start, refer to the Client error log

Explanation

The IBM CICS® Transaction Gateway service was unable to start the Client daemon.

System action

The service fails to start. This message is written to the Windows application event log.

User response

Examine the Client daemon error log to determine the cause of the error. The error log is in the location specified in the configuration file, or in the <product_data_path> if there was an error in the configuration. The environment variable CTG_DATA_PATH identifies the location of the <product_data_path>.
