Language Environment Education Stack and Heap Processing
  Abstract

This workshop continues the Language Environment basic debugging techniques by focusing on stack and heap processing.

Objectives:
After you attend this workshop, you should be able to:

  • Understand the layout and processing of Language Environment heap and stack structures
  • Use the LE VERBEXIT in IPCS to find data overlays in the heap

Audience:
The workshop is intended for systems programmers who install and support Language Environment, and applications programmers who debug applications running with Language Environment. It is assumed that the student has at least a basic knowledge of OS/390.
