  Abstract

This workshop is an introduction to Language Environment and basic debugging techniques.

Objectives:
After you attend this workshop, you should be able to:

  • Understand Language Environment
  • Be familiar with how Language Environment handles and reports errors
  • Use CEEDUMPs and SYSMDUMPs to debug application problems

Audience:
The workshop is intended for systems programmers who install and support Language Environment, and applications programmers who debug applications running with Language Environment. It is assumed that the student has at least a basic knowledge of OS/390.
