10571 - Euro currency support in Web Connection from Windows browser

Prerequisites:

 None


Symptom:

 When VisualAge Smalltalk is running on OS/2, the codepage conversion
 from 850 to 819 does not occur. This means that the Euro symbol cannot
 be displayed on a Windows web browser when Smalltalk is running on
 an OS/2 system.


Solution:

 Download 10571.nls, change the name to abtrules.nls, and apply the
 replace your existing abtrules.nls file. Then restart VisualAge
 Smalltalk.
