This | | package can be distributed to any one who has a license for | | this product. | | | +-------------------------------------------------------------------------------+ PREREQUISITES : How to transfer the serial number and licenses from HP400.NLM to the updated new HP400.NLM 1. Copy this HP400.nlm file to a floppy disk 2. Put "STAMPHP4.NLM" anywhere on your file server or on the same floppy disk with the new HP400.NLM" 4. Put the floppy disk which contains the new HP400.NLM in your file server's floppy drive. 5. Type "LOAD \STAMPHP4" from your system console 6. Wait until the screen said "Finish copy and stamp the new patched file" Note: STAMPHP4.NLM will only read the old HP400.NLM from SYS:\SYSTEM\HP400 subdirectory. PROBLEM FIXED: APAR Number Description JR13627_____ HP400 will not connect to multiple AS400's INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: JR13627.exe (*.exe in the steps below) is a self-extracting file containing the shipped executables. The PARTS LIST is as follows: SHIPPED (fn ft) REPLACES HP400.NLM HP400.NLM in sys:/system/nwsaa STAMPHP4 transfers serial number and license from old HP400 to new HP400 NLM Installing the fix on the system: 1) Be SURE to download the *.exe file in BINARY format. 2) Create a Temp directory and copy *.exe into the temp directory and execute *.exe file. 3) Stop NetWare for SAA. 4) Backup your previous versions of the parts listed in the SHIPPED/REPLACED columns in some manner and apply the parts in their place. IMPORTANT! If this is an APAR fix, carefully compare the dates of the parts supplied with this APAR fix with the dates of the parts you are replacing. If ANY of the parts being replaced are more recent than the parts shipped with this APAR discontinue the installation of this fix and contact Customer Support for clarification. 5) Restart Netware for SAA.
