APAR FIX FOR LAN ACCESS 1.1 - IX74164: PROBLEM: MPM ALERT HANDLING CAUSES MEMORY LEAKS. ALSO FIXES CORRUPTED MPM TOPOLOGY COMMAND, AND ERRANT FLAG IN MPM FILE PUT. SOLUTION: The MPM_BR.DLL files from IX74164.ZIP replaces the ones already existing on the OS/2, Windows NT, and Windows 95 provider systems, along with the one existing on the LAN Access managed node. It also replaces the one shipped with the MPM toolkit. The IX76414.ZIP file contains: IX76414.TXT MPM_BR.OS2 MPM_BR.W32 For the LAN Access Managed Node system (Windows NT): 1)Download IX74614.ZIP to a new directory. 2)Unzip the file. 3)Stop LAN Access. 4)Rename the current \TME10LA\MPM_BR.DLL file to MPM_BR.SAV. 5)Copy the MPM_BR.W32 file to \TME10LA\MPM_BR.DLL. 6)Restart LAN Access. For the MPM Toolkit system (Windows NT): 1)Download IX74614.ZIP to a new directory. 2)Unzip the file. 3)Rename the current \MPMTOOLS\BIN\MPM_BR.DLL file to MPM_BR.SAV. 4)Copy the MPM_BR.W32 file to \MPMTOOLS\BIN\MPM_BR.DLL. For the NetFinity, LAN Desk, and SMS Providers systems (Windows NT, Windows 95): 1)Download IX74614.ZIP to a new directory. 2)Unzip the file. 3)Stop the provider. 4)Rename the current \TME10LA\MPM_BR.DLL file to MPM_BR.SAV. 5)Copy the MPM_BR.W32 file to \TME10LA\MPM_BR.DLL. 6)Restart the provider.
