This chapter explains how to configure the SQL Interface.
As of DB2 OLAP Server Version 8.1, the SQL Interface is no longer installed separately. Instead, it is installed with the OLAP server component. You need to purchase the Tools Bundle to use the SQL Interface, and indicate that you purchased it in the installation program.
After you install the DB2 OLAP Server and the SQL Interface and set your environment variables, you must configure your data source. You may need to configure your ODBC driver. For this information, see the SQL Interface Guide.
