This patch is for the English language versions of 
European Air War ONLY! Patches for German, French and 
Spanish will follow in days to come.

How to Update to EAW version 1.1
--------------------------------
Updating to version 1.1 requires a previously installed 
version of European Air War.

1) Download EAWV1-1.EXE and save it somewhere you will 
   remember (such as your Desktop).

2) Locate this saved file (EAWV1-1.EXE) and double-click 
   on it to install the version 1.1 update. There may be 
   a delay as the updater scans your hard drive for the 
   old version of European Air War. Do NOT click on the 
   icon again; just wait a few moments until the install 
   window appears.

3) The updater will locate and ask you to verify the 
   location of the old EAW version.

4) After your confirmation, it will install the update. 

5) After the updater is finished, be sure to read 
   about the new changes in the updated Read Me file 
   (under Start/Programs/European Air War/Read Me!).

Multiplayer Note
----------------
European Air War versions 1.0 and 1.1 are not compatible for 
multiplayer gaming due to gameplay modifications. IGZ (the 
Internet Gaming Zone) will support European Air War version 
1.1 as of January 14, 1999. Attempting to play European Air 
War version 1.1 on IGZ before that date may result in severe 
warping and/or lag. After that date, only European Air War 
version 1.1 will be supported on IGZ. We apologize for any 
temporary inconvenience that that this may cause.
