History and Experience

Maple Computer Corporation was established in August, 1991. For the 8 years
since its inception, Maple has been dedicated to develop and manufacture
peripheral products for IBM AS/400 and ES/9000 systems, and specializing in
Chinese-based double-byte products and other language-based single-byte products
for IBM5250 and IBM3270. Because of the high quality of Maple's products, IBM
Taiwan has chosen the Maple 5250C Emulator, SDLC Card and Terminal (Chinese
Double Bytes) as IBM's Vendor Logo Hardware. With expert knowledge in 5250 and
3270 fields and strong technical background, we have great confidence in the
quality and stability of our products. Maple Computer Corporation enjoys high
reputation of the quality and innovation in the world.

In 1999, Maple announced new Model ET2000, which is a true character-based
terminal that supports Ethernet connectivity for AS/400, ES/9000, RS/6000, UNIX
and NT/SNA Network. Using TCP/IP protocols allows for each device to maintain a
static, unique device name and provides printer support. This product brings
more and more approval from our customers.

Now with Maple's strong R&D engineering team, Maple Computer Corporation is
developing the newest product, Windows Based Terminal (WBT). Maple's WBT
supports our professional terminal emulation, such as IBM 5250, 3270, VT-100,
VT-220, X-terminal and Microsoft's RDP along with Windows NT Server 4.0 or
above, enable multi-user with multiple sessions, easier for user to utilize
Windows base application or legacy host's program. Unlike others WBTs which need
to access to IBM's hosts via Windows NT, Maple's WBT builds in TN5250E, TN3270E,
VT-100, VT-220 and X-terminal in the unit and makes it access to IBM's hosts
directly.

Windows Based Terminal has a bright future in the market in the worldwide. There
are a lot of manufacturers access to the market and want to share a part in this
market in a hurry without considering the difficulty in the mass production and
the overhead in the operation. Maple offers the hardware and software supports
