I didnīt configure the kernel to use it as a firewall yet. I started installing FreeBSD by ftp, and when I try to configure the second card, the server stops, and I must to do a cold restart.. The first and good card is a Digital 21040, the second one (where the problem is) is a Digital DE205 card. When I execute the command: # ifconfig le0 172.16.20.20 (I did not get the prompt again... only rebooting the server..) >How-To-Repeat: >Fix: >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: State-Changed-From-To: open->closed State-Changed-By: sheldonh State-Changed-When: Fri Aug 20 05:25:19 PDT 1999 State-Changed-Why: Originator confirms that the problem was caused by an IRQ conflict.
