Thanks for using VIVOTEK VIVOCloud! We, VIVOTEK Inc., will protect your online privacy with our best efforts. Please be advised that by using VIVOCloud app, downloading VIVOCloud app from iTunes, App Store, or Google Play, using VIVOCloud Web, registering VIVOCloud account, you have fully reviewed the following terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy and formally agree to it. Why VIVOCloud Service Accesses Your Device

VIVOCloud app will access the following components or information of your mobile devices as below:

• Phone status and UID
We collect phone status and UID to analyze usage status, and improve our services.
• Camera
Camera is used for QR code scan.
• Microphone
Microphone is used when you use 2-way audio in VIVOCloud app.
• Location (approximate location based on Internet hot spot)
We collect approximate location based on Internet address for data analysis and research to improve our service.
• SD card
Screenshot will be saved to your SD card.
• Internet
VIVOCloud service require internet connection.
• Prevent mobile phone from hibernating
When viewing video streaming, this function will keep screen on.

What Information We Collect

We collect and use the following information to provide, improve and protect our services:

-Private Information
You may provide your device MAC, personal mail address, country, name, and organization of your own will when using in-app technical support. Your email account will be also collected when you use it to register to our service.
-Usage
We collect information, which includes, but not limited to IP address, type of your mobile devices, identifiers associated with your devices, connection speed and connection time. Your devices may also transmit location information to the services. App usage log will be collected when you use in-app technical support to report issue of your own will.
-Device Information
VIVOTEK device information including MAC, device ID, IP address, device model, number of channels, and number of device push notifications (not content) will be collected when connecting to VIVOCloud service.

How We Use the Information We Collect

-Private Information
We may use your personal information to send you notification about our service information, events, and software / firmware upgrades. Occasionally we will also ask for your feedback to improve our services.
-Usage
We also use information collected from your VIVOCloud usage to improve our services. Usage information will only be used in VIVOTEK internal analyze purpose only. Research and statistic of usage data will be analyzed anonymously. App usage logs we collect from in-app technical support will be used to track down the issues you report.
-Device Information
Device information including phone status and UID, approximate location is collected. These information are for VIVOTEK internal research and analyze to improve VIVOCloud Service.

Account in Device

A set of device local account(s) will be activated by the device firmware when you turn on VIVOCloud service. The local account(s) are used to access your devices when you attempt to connect to VIVOCloud. Data transmission is encrypted and only accessible between device(s) and your own VIVOCloud account or other VIVOCloud account(s) with your permission.

Information or Content Sharing

VIVOTEK will not disclose your personal information you provide, usage information when you use the service, or any pixel tags, cookies to any third-parties without your prior consent. All data collected from VIVOCloud usage are analyzed anonymously to improve our services. All information you share with VIVOTEK when using technical support is only for trouble shooting and to contact you directly.

Limited Liability

We will in no event be liable under this Privacy Policy and the services to you for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, whether foreseeable or unforeseeable, of any kind whatsoever, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal equitable theory, even if it has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability to you for losses, damages, costs, expenses, and other amounts arising out of or relating to this Privacy Policy and the services, regardless of the theory of liability, will in no event exceed the amount paid by you.
