Rational ProjectConsole
Maintenance Tool Help
If you use the Maintenance Tool to connect to a new or existing Rational ProjectConsole
repository other than the one to which you are currently connected,
you must first remove generated reports that have been stored in the Rational ProjectConsole
report cache.
To connect to an existing repository:
- On the Rational ProjectConsole
server, click .
- Click Connect to a ProjectConsole repository.
- Click Next.
- From the Connect to repository list,
select the repository to which you want to connect. In the Data
warehouse information pane, read-only information about repository
databases is displayed. You cannot modify the displayed values.
- To proceed to connect to the selected repository,
click Finish.
- If you have Rational ProjectConsole
agents (machines running only the report server and collection agent components)
set up independent of the server, perform the following tasks on each agent:
- Start your Microsoft Computer Management console.
- Restart the following services:
- Rational ProjectConsole
Collection Server
- Rational ProjectConsole
Dashboard Server
- Rational ProjectConsole
Report Server
After this, a user who logs in to
Rational ProjectConsole
sees the Web site described in the selected repository to which you are connected.
Note: You cannot use this page to connect to a repository from a previous
version of Rational ProjectConsole.
If you have data that was collected using an earlier version of Rational ProjectConsole,
you must migrate the data to a new repository before you can connect to it.
