IBM Secure Diagnostic Data Upload Utility upload files to IBM support ftp server. The upload in done in parallel and with optional online compression and encryption.
Any upload must be identified. It is possible to upload data for a Problem record (PMR) or for a hardware problem id (RCMS). IBM Secure Diagnostic Data Upload Utility does also support uploads for selected projects.
Select the type of the upload and enter the id in the field below. If you are in doubt about the format of the id, position the mouse pointer over the id field. A tooltip is with informations about the id shown.
If compression is selected, the data is compressed with a GZip compression. If encryption is selected, the data is encrypted with AES using 128 bit keys. The keys are exchanged with a RSA encryption with key length of 2048 bits.
Both, compression and encryption, are done on the fly. The IBM Secure Diagnostic Data Upload Utility does not write temporary files.
Enter an email address that get an email when the data was stored in the ECuRep datastore. Only one email address is allowed. Do not use clear text names.
Use the "Add Files.." button to select files for the transfer. Up to 12 files are allowed for one transfer. Files with the same file name are not supported, even if they are stored in different directories.
To remove files from the transfer list, use the "Clear List" button to remove all, or the "Remove File" button to remove the selected file in the list
