To add the RFT text filter (16bit) to IBM Works do the following:
 
1. Close all IBM Works applications
 
2. PKUNZIP the WKSRFT.ZIP file
 
3. Copy the following DLLs to the IBM Works directory

4. Make the following changes to your IBMWORKS.INI file
 
   Note: The open and close parens below are actually left and
         right square brackets.
 
   A. In the (Extensions) section, add the "RFT=Revisable Form Text/DCA" line

      RFT=Revisable Form Text/DCA
 
   B. In the (WP) section, add "RFT," to the following four lines
 
      (WP)
      Open=LWP,RFT,RTF,DOC,SAM,WP5,WP6,TXT
      OpenAll=LWP,RFT,RTF,DOC,SAM,WP5,WP6,TXT
      SaveAs=LWP,RFT,RTF,DOC,SAM,WP5,WP6,TXT
      ImportText=LWP,RFT,RTF,DOC,SAM,WP5,WP6,TXT
 
   C. In the (Mastersoft Text Filter) section, add the
      (Revisable Form Text/DCA) line.
