  1.1   The following update will upgrade the BIOS and firmware of your ServeRAID 8i, 8k, 8k-l 
        and 8s controller to version 5.2-0 (Build 11844)
	
        Follow each step in this README to ensure that your ServeRAID controllers have the 
        latest firmware and BIOS levels.

2.0  Installation and setup instructions

  NOTE: This update is to be used as a standalone package.

  2.1  Updating the BIOS and firmware
  ___________________________________
 
    1.  Download the ISO image from IBM.com
     
    2.  Create a CD using any CD burning application.

    3.  Insert the CD into CD driver and boot the server.

    4.  Follow the instructions on the screen.

   ServeRAID Installation Guide (INSTALL.PDF) in the /BOOKS directory of the "IBM ServeRAID 
   Support" CD.
