About Abuse

Abuse is 360 degrees of side-scrolling action. Run, jump, fall and fly in any direction ... through industrial corridors, caverns and sewers ... destroy your enemies with an incredible arsenal of weapons or be destroyed!

To maximize gameplay, Abuse for AIX requires:

• PowerPC-based RS/6000 workstation,
• AIX Version 4.1 (or higher),
• AIX Ultimedia Services/6000 2.1.4 (or higher),
• Audio sub-system and speakers.

Licensing and Installation

1. Read the Crack dot Com license agreement before downloading or installing the shareware version of Abuse for AIX.

2. Create a temporary directory on your RS/6000 system with at least 10 MBytes of available space.

3. Download the install image of the shareware version of Abuse for AIX.

4. Use the following command to install the Abuse game on your system.

   installp -aXd Abuse.bin Abuse

   This install process will place the Abuse for AIX fileset in the /usr/lpp/abuse directory of your RS/6000 system and create a global link to start the game.

5. To start the game, close your office door (or adjust the speaker volume on your RS/6000 system) and type the following command.

   go_abuse

6. Navigate with the left-right arrow keys, jump (or jump up) by pressing the up arrow key, climb down by pressing the down arrow key. Aim your weapons by moving the cross-hairs with the mouse and shoot by pressing the left mouse button. Health and ammo status are on the control panel ...

Note: To enhance gameplay, Abuse for AIX traps the mouse cursor in the X window. Exit Abuse by pressing ESC and selecting the Exit option.
