This replacement file provides additional enhancements to the original ATTMAIL.DLL file, correcting the following problems: - The AT&T(R) driver loses the remainder of the message body when a null character is detected. - Sending a mail message with an attachment from version 3.2 of Microsoft Mail for Windows through the AT&T gateway to an AT&T mail account that is using version 3.2 of Microsoft Mail Remote for Windows, with the AT&T driver selected, will have a single attachment split into two separate files. To replace your ATTMAIL.DLL file -------------------------------- 1. Verify that the AT&T Mail driver is the current driver in the Mail System Selector (MAILDRV.EXE) by running the Mail System Selector from Program Manager, selecting AT&T Mail, and choosing Set As Current Mail Driver. 2. Insert the enclosed WA0952 disk in your floppy disk drive. 3. At the MS-DOS command prompt, type the following and press ENTER copy :\attmail.dll where is the floppy disk drive containing the WA0952 disk and is the drive and directory where your ATTMAIL.DLL file currently resides. For example, if ATTMAIL.DLL is located in the Windows SYSTEM subdirectory on drive C and the WA0952 disk is in drive A, type the following command: copy a:\attmail.dll c:\windows\system A message will be displayed stating: 1 file(s) copied. This indicates that your ATTMAIL.DLL file has been successfully replaced.
