Users may now override the ZDIR default for file extraction/updating. ** Tagging options for creating library files. StS now supports the marking (tagging) of file to be included in library files. This feature is supported via the menu. ** Tagged file conversion for library files. Users may now convert library files to another type via an automatic, intelligent, conversion process supported by the marked files menu. This option allows block conversions of library files and even handles mixing of file types. ** Data input improved. StS now uses a line editor when prompting for input which allows the user to cursor, insert, and delete. ** File attributes displayed. Files that have special attributes (hidden,system, etc.) now show a special marking on the display. ** File attributes are modifiable. StS now provides support for changing file attributes. This feature will allow the user to un-hide files to be included in libraries as well as many other uses. ** /B command line switch added. StS no longer defaults to BIOS screen writes as it did in older versions. BIOS screen writing is still supported but must be forced on by specifying /B on the DOS command line. ** /H command line switch added. StS now supports the 43/50 line EGA/VGA modes on machines equipped with extended graphics adapters. ** video switch added. Users of extended graphics adapters may now switch between 25 and 43/50 modes while running StS by pressing the key pair. ** Sort options added. StS will now sort each window independently with new sort types of date, size, and un-sorted. ** key changed.
