The new modem will probably set new standards in the communications industry. It is truly state of the art with many new features. Also, many of the Bulletin Boards are already gearing up or have available now, 2400 baud uploads and downloads! I have even seen on some BBS's that they will soon ONLY support 1200 and 2400. So if you are operating at 300 baud, you may not be able to get on many boards in the future. The list price of the new modem is $899.00 which includes a two year warranty. Hayes is really good at taking care of problems. The first modem that I got was defective. I return it to Hayes and within 8 days I had a brand new modem!!
