Oct 1981 Biomation's new K102-D logic analyzer is a lower-priced 32-channel version of the K101-D annouced in June. The K102-D can be upgraded to a 48-channel K101-D later if desired. The new analyzer has 32 data inputs and eight clock inputs instead of 12; in all other respects, it is identical to the K101-D. Both provide versitile clocking modes and up to 10-nanosecond internal clocking resolution. The price of the K102-D is $16,900. Biomation also announced a disassembly module for use with the K101-D and K102-D logic analyzers. The Personality Module lets you review the execution of an Intel 8085- based system in assembly language mnemonics. It also supports Intel 8080 and 8085 and Zilog Z-80 processors. Biomation plans to release 8086 and 8088 vesions later. The disassembler module will be available in January for under $2000. Another new Biomation accessory allows two logic analyzers to exchange data over a telephone line, facilitating field diagnostics. The T12 communicator sells for $3250 and will be available in December.
