$(cpicName) Help - Colorizing Images
's Colorize Images function allows you to easily colorize any image.

The Colorize function can be used to add color to black and white images, or to change the colors of a colored image.

-->
What Does Colorizing Do? Colorizing an image replaces the light, dark, and mid-range colors in an image. Unlike color adjustment, which allows you to shift the color and hue of an entire image, the Colorize function allows you to control the specific color values used for different types of colors.

When colorizing an image, each color range (light, dark, and mid-range) can be adjusted separately.

Light Colors
The light colors in an image (sometimes referred to as highlights) are colors which are lighter than the average colors in the image. Colors close to white often fall into this category.

Dark Colors
Dark colors (often called shadow colors) are the darker colors in the image, such as black.

Mid-Range Colors
Mid-range colors are any colors which fall between the light and dark color ranges.
