On bootup the card/driver correctly selects the 10BaseT media. If the cable is unplugged from the hub nothing happens (i.e. no console messages). When the cable is plugged back into the hub the console displays either "de0: enabling BNC port" or "de0: enabling AUI port". Further mucking with the cable does nothing. Manually setting the media type at this point using ifconfig gets the card/driver back to the correct media. >How-To-Repeat: As above. >Fix: ??? >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: Responsible-Changed-From-To: freebsd-bugs->peter Responsible-Changed-By: phk Responsible-Changed-When: Sun Apr 26 23:46:14 PDT 1998 Responsible-Changed-Why: -> peter State-Changed-From-To: open->closed State-Changed-By: silby State-Changed-When: Thu Jan 10 10:59:03 PST 2002 State-Changed-Why: Old OS release, old driver; if the problem still manifests itself under the dc driver on 4.x, a new PR can be opened. http://www.FreeBSD.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=5401 >Unformatted:
