The 4.6 CD booted fine, I got as far as the kernel configuration/resolve conflict screen which I hadn't before, and then on to the sysinstall menu and installed FreeBSD. Permanent fix: A kernel with this change to it (flag 0x2 not 0x1) device atkbd0 at atkbdc? irq 1 flags 0x2 lets me boot using the PS/2 keyboard (Otherwise the machine boots up as usual but I can't use the keyboard). I presume a boot image with that flag set (or set interactively?) would load okay also. State-Changed-From-To: open->closed State-Changed-By: schweikh State-Changed-When: Fri Aug 9 10:00:54 PDT 2002 State-Changed-Why: Originator can use keyboard if atkbd driver is configured to reset at initialization. The default flags for atkdb are not likely to be changed as this will impact a lot of machines. http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=37225 >Unformatted:
